ENLIVEN co-ordinator John Holford and Nottingham computer scientists Rong Qu and Claire Palmer visited colleagues from the EduMAP project (Adult Education as a Means to Active Participatory Citizenship) at the University of Tampere in Finland on the 24th and 25th of November 2016. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the role of the Intelligent Decision Support System, a central part of both Horizon 2020 projects. Having introduced the outlines of both projects to each other, both the Nottingham and Tampere team engaged in further discussions about techniques employed for the IDSS, the interaction between social sciences and computer sciences and the next steps in establishing further collaborations between the ENLIVEN and EduMap projects.
